How to store Saffron

Once saffron is dried and cooled, it is packed in glass containers, polythene envelopes/cans, or stratified aluminum packages.
Please store your saffron in a dry place and away from humidity and direct sunlight. Saffron should not be stored in a place with a temperature above 20 °C.
In case saffron is stored in unfavorable conditions, its extract loses its strength, and as a result it fails to prove effective anymore.
We also recommend that you do not grind your saffron until you want to use it. If kept for a long time, saffron powder also fails to be as effective as unground saffron.
